Summit Football Team Championship History:
State championship history: Summit has won 17 state championships in its storied history. Eight came prior to the state playoff era and eight were playoff titles. Summit shared the North Jersey, Group 3 title with Roselle Park in 1928. It won North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 championships in 1954 (shared with Linden), 1959, 1962 (shared with Millburn), 1963, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1976, 1980, 2012, 2013, and 2018. The Hilltoppers also won four championships in North Jersey, Section 2, Group 2 in 1988, 1993, 1994, 2009.
